Kelly Bertrand, PhD is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice in New York City and Greenwich, CT.  She obtained  her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Long Island University, Brooklyn Campus and concluded her post-graduate training at the Masterson Institute for the study of relational trauma and personality disorders. She completed her internship at the NY Harbor VA Medical Center in New York City and then worked at the Center for Motivation and Change where she focused on the treatment of addiction and traumatic stress.  Before that, Dr. Bertrand trained in a variety of settings, including Bellevue Hospital’s Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency (CPEP) and Intensive Personality Disorders Program.
 
Dr. Bertrand is a supervising psychologist for Long Island University’s doctoral program and has taught at the doctoral program at Adelphi University and the International Masterson Institute. She received her BFA from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master’s degree from Bank Street College prior to pursuing her doctorate in clinical psychology.


Dr. Bertrand is a member of the American Psychological Association and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies.
